22nd Annual
John Pepper Memorial Tournament
Now entering our 22nd year, the 2023 John Pepper Memorial Tournament features the youth of the sport with the tournament showcasing the future stars of high school and college lacrosse. This year's John Pepper Memorial Lacrosse Tournament will take place on Sunday, July 23rd.
The tournament was established in 2002 by the Camillus Lacrosse Community in honor and in memory of former West Genesee Junior Varsity lacrosse player, John Pepper who tragically died August 30, 2001. The tournament helps benefit the West Genesee lacrosse program and other local, national and international lacrosse-oriented causes and is dedicated to the Creators gift of lacrosse and to John Pepper and his enjoyment that lacrosse gave to him.
The 2023 John Pepper Memorial Tournament will consist of 8 teams each in grade level 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 THE GRADES THE BOYS WILL BE ENTERING IN SEPTEMBER 2023 in a festival style format consisting of 3 games for each team. Sportsmanship, respect of the game and camaraderie of all involved are of the highest priority. The Tournaments exemplify these goals and because of these goals, they will continue to be regarded as the “premier” lacrosse events of the summer tournament season.
